Two Hospitalized after Maritime Crash Near Monument Island
Two people were hospitalized last week, after being involved in a crash with a boat.
The victims reportedly crashed into the 25-foot vessel while riding a personal watercraft.
WSVN.com reports that Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Miami Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene at about 5:00 pm on December 30 and took the two victims to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition as a precaution.
The crash occurred near Monument Island, the site of various maritime accidents over the years.
