News: Worker injured in accident on the job at Miami Lakes construction warehouse
OPA-LOCKA, FL – A worker was injured in an accident on the job in Miami Lakes Thursday morning, reports WSVN.
First responders were dispatched to the scene after the incident occurred in a construction warehouse at Northwest 57th Avenue and Northwest 150th Street, behind the Opa-Locka Airport.
An employee at the warehouse was crushed by a large piece of equipment and was lying next to a forklift as crews tried to help, according to the report. He was flown to an area hospital, but no details were immediately available on his condition.
There was no word on the circumstances that led to the accident.
