Boy Severely Attacked by Neighbor’s Dog
A 10-year-old boy has been hospitalized following a severe dog attack at a neighbor’s house.
WSVN.com reports that the boy suffered injuries to his head, face, and ear after being attacked by a pit bull after entering the home if his neighbor. The report indicates that the boy “went to the house and knocked on the lady’s house, and the lady let him into the house,” but she was unaware that the dog had not been put away.
The dog attacked the boy, inflicting him with injuries so serious that they required surgery. The report says that the boy may have to undergo additional medical procedures in the future.
As of the filing of the report authorities had not been able to contact the owner of the animal.
