Alaska is taking major cruise lines to task after it was found that they were violating the state’s emissions regulations.
Stuff.co.nz reports that six cruise ships which visited the state were busted for violating Alaska’s air and water quality standards. The ships include:
- Golden Princess
- Norwegian Jewel
- Radiance of the Seas
The report indicates that the state of Alaska has not decided what kind of penalty to impose against the violators. Fines can reportedly reach up to over $46,000 per violation.
