RAM Recalls Over 200,000 Vehicles Due to Potential Defect

Auto manufacturer RAM is recalling over 200,000 pickup trucks due to a potential stalling risk.

ConsumerReports.org reports that the defect affects approximately 222,410 vehicles model years 2019 to 2020, and can cause the high-pressure fuel pump to fail. If this happens the vehicle may stall, presenting a potential hazard.

Signs that the vehicle may be suffering from the defect include the check engine light illuminating, noise coming from the engine, a change in drive quality, or a fuel leak.

RAM advises owners of affected vehicles to bring them to dealer service stations for repair.

RAM has indicated that there are no known accidents or injuries related to the defect.
