One Dead after Semi Strikes Pedestrian in Broward County
A person was killed in a traffic collision involving a semi-truck near Port Everglades on Friday.
Local10.com reports that the crash occurred at about 7:00 a.m. when a semi-truck struck a pedestrian near South Federal Highway and Southeast 30th Street.

A witness to the crash told Local10.com that the victim had been yelling at traffic before apparently darting out in front of the truck.
First responders transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later died.
Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
