News: Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver on I-95 in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Fort Lauderdale Friday morning.
According to WPLG, the incident happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Broward Boulevard at about 5 a.m. The pedestrian, an adult male, died after being hit by a car that left the scene. The victim’s name was not released.
Two right lanes of Interstate 95 were shut down near the scene while troopers investigated. No description of the vehicle involved was immediately available.
