MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – A crash on the Don Shula Expressway in southwest Miami-Dade Friday morning injured an off-duty Coral Gables police officer, according to NBC Miami.
The accident happened in the northbound lanes near Killian Parkway at about 6:30 a.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said the officer was in her personal vehicle, a Toyota sedan, when she was hit by a pickup truck.
