The accident happened in the area of Southwest 10th Street and Waterways Boulevard just after noon on Saturday.

According to traffic homicide detectives with the sheriff’s office, 28-year-old Liam Lexis Reyes was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed on Southwest 10th Street when he drove off the road and onto the grass.  Reyes, of Coconut Creek, was thrown from the motorcycle and came to rest against a fence. He was pronounced dead after being transported to an area hospital.
