News: Miami police officer injured in accident on Dolphin Expressway
MIAMI, FL – A multi-vehicle accident in Miami-Dade County Tuesday morning sent a police officer to the hospital.
According to NBC Miami, several vehicles, including a Miami police cruiser, were involved in the crash on the Dolphin Expressway near Northwest 57th Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m.
A Miami Police Department officer was reported to have been treated and released at Jackson Memorial Hospital after sustaining a broken wrist.
No details were immediately released on what led to the crash, which shut down all lanes of traffic on the expressway.
