News: Man and woman killed when Tesla crashes into tree at intersection in Coral Gables
CORAL GABLES, FL – Two people died after the driver of a Tesla lost control and crashed into a tree in Coral Gables Monday night, according to WPLG.
Police responded to the scene in the area of Alhambra Circle and Coral Way, where the vehicle caught fire after the crash.
The victims, whose names were not immediately released, were reported to be a 20-year-old male driver and his 19-year-old female passenger.
Investigators were trying to determine whether excessive speed was a contributing factor in the wreck.
