TAMARAC, FL – A bicycle rider in Tamarac was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Monday morning, NBC Miami reports.
Family members identified the victim as 50-year-old Neker Fleurosier. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, he was riding a bicycle in the 4400 block of Rock Island Road near Commercial Boulevard at about 10:30 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle. Fleurosier was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver left the scene without stopping to help and is now being sought by authorities.
