News: Fatal motorcycle accident closes stretch of Sawgrass Expressway
CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Authorities said a motorcycle rider was killed in a crash in Coral Springs on Tuesday morning.
According to WSVN, the wreck took place on the Sawgrass Expressway near the exit for Coral Ridge Drive.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a motorcyclist crashed into a guard rail on the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The crash disrupted traffic in the area, as the southbound lanes of the Sawgrass Expressway were shut down while troopers responded.
