News: Stretch of SW 88th Street in West Kendall closed following fatal crash
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FL – Miami-Dade Police tweeted that they were at the scene of a fatal crash in West Kendall on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred in the area of Southwest 88th Street and Southwest 167th Avenue in the Hammocks district, and was reported at about 1 p.m. WSVN reported that two vehicles involved in the crash went off the roadway and struck a tree. No details were immediately released regarding who was killed in the incident.
Police issued a traffic alert that Kendall Drive was shut down in both directions between Southwest 167 Avenue and Krome Avenue. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
