News: Collision on I-95 near Miami Gardens leaves 2 women dead

MIAMI GARDENS, FL – Two women were killed when their vehicle was involved in a crash on Interstate 95 Monday, according to NBC Miami.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a Toyota sedan collided with a Dodge pickup truck in the southbound express lanes of I-95 near the exit for Miami Gardens Drive. 

The two victims were in the sedan and were pronounced dead at the scene.  No other injuries were reported.

No details have been released on the circumstances that led to the wreck.  Authorities shut down the southbound express lanes on I-95 for over four hours while the crash was being investigated.
