Man Working On Elevator Found Dead in Aventura
A man died while working on an elevator in Aventura on Tuesday.
Local10.com reports that at about 2 p.m. a security guard called officials to report that a person was in trouble in the elevator. First responders arrived at the Harbor Village Towers on Yacht Club Drive and discovered that the victim had already passed away.
Aventura Police Department spokesperson Officer Hans Maestre told Local 10 that something happened in the elevators, but authorities are unsure as to what. The Local 10 report indicates that the victim was working on an elevator when the victim became injured and died.
The circumstances surrounding the victim’s death were not immediately clear.
The victim has not been identified.
