A man working an industrial machine in Miami Gardens suffered a severed arm on Thursday morning.
Local10.com reports that the man was working at gourmet pasta manufacturer Fiori Bruna at about 9:30 a.m. when his arm was severed in one of the machines on the premises.
Police and paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man alert and responsive, and medically evacuated him to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. It is believed that the rescue workers carried the victim’s severed arm with them in a medical cooler.
As of now, there is no indication as to the nature of the incident that caused the man to lose his arm.
