Man Killed After Construction Truck Crashes Into Canal in Parkland
A person is dead following a crash involving a construction truck in Parkland.
WSVN.com reports that the crash occurred at about 10:30 a.m. at the Hillsboro Canal in the vicinity of Loxahatchee Road and Solstice Circle.

The truck ran off the road and became completely submerged in the canal, killing its driver.
Rescue workers initially attempted to save the victim’s life, but about an hour after the crash, they switched from a rescue mission to a recovery mission. They were able to pull the victim’s body from the canal at about 12:30 PM.
Authorities have yet to release the identity of the victim.
