A Florida man is under arrest following a crash that killed a bicyclist in Weston over the summer.
Local10.com reports that 21-year-old Hollywood resident Lidor Lahiani was apparently under the influence of Xanax when he crashed his 2014 Hyundai Sonata into a bike rider on West State Road 84 in early September.

A Broward Sheriff’s Office report concluded that “Lahiani drove off the roadway several times and into the gravel construction area,” in the moments leading up to the collision.
On Tuesday authorities arrested Lahiani and charged him with one count of DUI manslaughter and two counts of DUI crash with property damage among other charges.
The victim initially survived the collision but eventually succumbed to his injuries on October 27.
