Authorities are seeking the drivers of three vehicles that were involved in a hit and run crash this weekend.

Sun-Sentinel.com reports that the victim was walking on South Cypress Rd. in Pompano Beach when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Alan Warren of Fort Lauderdale. The report says that  Warren stopped to check on the victim and he and victim spoke briefly following the collision. As Warren turned to call 911 and locate an address the victim was struck by three additional vehicles traveling southbound on South Cypress Rd.

Though one of the vehicles that struck the victim briefly turned around, all three of the vehicles fled the scene, in violation of Florida law. Authorities are unsure which of the vehicles caused the man's death, and they report that the victim was already deceased when paramedics with Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived on the scene.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Sean Williams at 954-321-4840 or provide an anonymous tip to Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) - browardcrimestoppers.org.
