Driver Hospitalized After Brightline Train Collides with Vehicle In Aventura
Brightline has already been declared the most dangerous train line in the country when judged by the number of collisions per mile traveled. In 2022 alone there have already been over half a dozen collisions involving Brightline trains. Today, another collision was added to the list.

Local10.com reports that on Monday afternoon a Brightline train collided with a vehicle in Aventura in the area of 21500 E. Dixie Highway. The collision, which was caught on surveillance camera, occurred when the sedan attempted to go around an SUV, crossing the tracks just as a train approached.
The crash severely damaged the vehicle, but apparently the driver escaped serious injury. Reports indicate that the driver walked away from the crash, but was later treated at a local hospital.
The driver’s condition is not currently known.
