Surveillance footage of the incident shows the devastating impact of the crash, caused by 23-year-old driver Michaele Joseph. Apparently, Joseph mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brake, causing her car to jump the curb and crash into the market.
First responders rushed the couple to HCA Florida University Hospital. Schrews suffered a contusion to her head and severe injuries to her finger. Jonathan suffered a cut elbow.
