Crash Involving School Bus Leaves Two Hospitalized in Orange County

A crash involving a school bus in Orange County, Florida left two people hospitalized on Monday.

ClickOrlando.com reports that the collision occurred near South John Young Parkway and 38th Street when the school bus driver apparently became distracted due to an unruly student. While attending to the student the driver looked away from the road and when the driver looked back it was too late to avoid striking the vehicle in front of the bus.

The resulting crash initiated a chain reaction that ultimately involved five vehicles.

One adult and one child were injured in the incident and required hospitalization with non-life-threatening injuries.

There were reportedly 36 Pineloch Elementary students aboard the bus at the time of the crash.
