Carnival Says Man Who Went Missing from Ship Traveled with Special Needs Organization

Carnival Cruise Line says that the man who went missing from one of its cruise ships over the weekend purposefully climbed over the rail of the ship.

The company says that the 22-year-old victim was an autistic man, and was on a cruise organized by a special needs organization called Wishes4Me.

The family, which is from Johns Creek, Georgia, issued a statement through a public relations firm.

Just days ago Carnival announced that it was searching for a passenger who went missing from the Victory as it sailed off the Florida Keys.
