Woman Airlifted to the Hospital After Falling from Horse
A teen woman was severely injured in a horse riding incident Thursday, requiring urgent medical attention.

WSVN.com reports that the 19-year-old woman was riding a horse at Southwest Ranches equestrian center, located near Southwest 56th Street and 178th Avenue, when she fell off the horse.
The fall was severe and may have resulted in a significant brain injury. First responders rushed the woman to Memorial Regional Hospital by helicopter for treatment.
Authorities have not disclosed details about how the fall occurred or about the victim’s current condition.
