Tri-Rail Train Reportedly Crashes into Boat On Trailer
A Tri-Rail train reportedly crashed into a boat being hauled on a trailer Thursday morning.
MiamiHerald.com reports that the crash occurred at Stirling Road and North 29th Avenue as a pickup was towing the boat across the train track. The train collided with the boat, causing the pickup to bump into the railroad crossing gate.
The crash closed the train track for several hours as authorities investigated the collision and removed the truck and boat from the track. Passengers who were on the train at the time of the collision received transportation to alternate destinations.
No one was reported injured in the crash.
