Three Florida State University Students Killed In Weekend Crashes

Two crashes over Halloween weekend left three Florida State University students dead.

Tallahassee.com reports that two of the students were killed in a crash on Apalachee Parkway on Saturday when they were involved in a collision with a Ford F-350 truck that was going approximately 70 mph. The report identifies the victims as Victor Pena and Sean Shearman and says that they were apparently attempting to make a left turn when the truck struck them.

In the other collision, a female FSU student was struck by a vehicle while she was crossing the road near the FSU campus.  WTXL.com reports that the victim had been walking with friends on Pope Street when she was struck by a car as she ran through the intersection of Georgia and Pope. She reportedly died on the scene.
