Stolen U-Haul Plows Into SUV – Hospitalizing Driver
One person was seriously hurt in a vehicle crash involving a U-Haul truck Tuesday.
WSVN.com reports that the crash occurred at about 1 p.m. in Fort Lauderdale when a police cruiser spotted a U-Haul truck that had been reported stolen. As the officer called for backup and began to tail the vehicle it crashed with an SUV then struck a traffic signal. The crash was so forceful that it severely damaged the SUV and knocked the traffic signal over.

The driver of the SUV was seriously injured in the crash and first responders transported her to a local medical facility for treatment.
Police arrested the driver of the U-Haul.
