Police Arrest Person Suspected of Hit-and-Run Fatality
A man is under arrest after allegedly striking a Miami bicyclist and then leaving the scene.
Local10.com reports that the collision occurred at about 2:50 a.m. on Friday when a car struck the bicyclist, severely injuring the victim.

Though the driver fled the scene of the crash, in violation of Florida law, police later located a vehicle matching that of the car allegedly involved in the crash in the vicinity of Northwest Sixth Avenue and 45th Street.
Police later arrested the driver of the vehicle.
According to Miami-Dade spokesperson Officer Kiara Delva, the victim died at the scene.
