A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Miami-Dade Friday morning.
Local10.com reports that the victim was struck in the area of 127th Avenue and 152nd Street. Detective Angel Rodriguez located the body at about 5 a.m.

The driver that struck the victim did not stop and remain at the scene, in violation of Florida law.
As Local 10 Sky 10 helicopter flew over the scene the crew spotted a body covered with a yellow tarp at the scene of the crime.
The Local 10 report says that locals have long identified speeding as an urgent issue in the area.
