BOCA RATON, FL - Authorities in Palm Beach County say two drivers were injured in a crash after one of them drove the wrong way on U.S. 441/SR7.

According to Boca News Now, the incident happened Tuesday night in the area of Winner's Circle near Saturnia Isles shortly before 10 p.m.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Rose Joseph of Delray Beach was driving a Mazda SUV south in the northbound lane of U.S. 441/SR7.  Her vehicle collided with a northbound Tesla Model S driven by Garrett Ghiloni of Delray Beach. Both vehicles rotated, and Joseph's SUV caught fire.

She was rescued from the wreckage and taken to Delray Medical Center with injuries that were reported to be life-threatening.  Ghiloni was transported to the same hospital with serious injuries.

No charges had been filed in the case as of Wednesday.
