WEST PALM BEACH, FL - A woman has been sentenced to prison for a fatal hit-and-run crash in West Palm Beach on September 29, 2020, WPTV reports.

A judge sentenced 40-year-old Priscila Nicolas Antonio to five years behind bars for the incident on Pinewood Avenue that killed Catarina Reymondo Marcos. The victim was eight months pregnant at the time.

According to police, Antonio was driving a minivan near 37th Street when she backed over Marcos and her 3-year-old daughter outside their home, and then left the scene.  She was arrested in Indiantown in October.

Marcos's daughter and unborn baby were hospitalized with critical injuries.

Nicolas Antonio pleaded guilty in July to four counts of leaving the scene of a crash involving death, among other charges.  She will receive 366 days credit on her sentence for time already served.
