HOLLYWOOD, FL – Rescue crews responded to the scene of a crash in Hollywood that left a driver injured early Thursday morning, WSVN reports.
Officials said a woman was driving her vehicle on the eastbound lanes of Pines Boulevard when she crashed into a fence near 68th Avenue at about 5:45 a.m.
The vehicle then went into the yard of a nearby neighbor.
Rescuers carried the woman away from the scene and took her to an area hospital. No details have been released on her condition, and no other injuries were reported.
The homeowner whose fence was struck told a reporter the woman apparently collided with another car first before hitting the fence.
