News: Semi-truck rollover crash on Florida’s Turnpike leaves 3 injured
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Rescue crews were on the scene of a truck accident in Miami-Dade County Wednesday morning, reports WPLG.
A semi-truck going north on Florida’s Turnpike near Northwest 199th Street crashed and flipped over.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said the truck driver managed to escape the vehicle after the wreck. Three people were hospitalized, though no information was provided on the extent of their injuries.
Crews worked to contain a fuel spill from the truck that was caused by the accident. All lanes on the turnpike were shut down while the scene was being cleared.
