News: Police searching for driver who struck and killed elderly pedestrian in Lauderhill

LAUDERHILL, FL – Police in Lauderhill are trying to track down the driver who struck and killed an elderly pedestrian early Sunday morning, WSVN reports.

The victim, a woman, was hit by an SUV as she walked across the westbound lanes on West Broward Boulevard at about 3:15 a.m.  She was pronounced dead after being taken to Broward Health Medical Center.

Police have identified the vehicle involved in the crash as a dark gray 2019 Range Rover Velar that is missing the front emblem and should have front-end and windshield damage.

Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run incident was asked to contact the Lauderhill Police Department or Broward County Crime Stoppers.
