News: Pedestrian seriously injured by hit-and-run driver in Broward County

LAUDERHILL, FL – Police are trying to locate the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash in Lauderhill Friday morning that left a pedestrian hospitalized.

NBC Miami reports the victim was trying to cross the street on West Broward Boulevard near Northwest 32nd Avenue when he was struck by a car sometime before 4 a.m. The man was seriously injured and transported to Broward Health Medical Center.

The driver that hit him never stopped to help and left the scene, police said.

The vehicle sought in connection with the crash was described as a dark colored, four door sedan believed to have dark tinted windows and front end damage.

Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run was asked to call Lauderhill Police or Broward Crime Stoppers.
