News: Passenger dies after car hits barrier near Sawgrass Expressway
SUNRISE, FL – State troopers and local police were at the scene of a deadly crash in Sunrise on Saturday morning, according to WSVN.
Investigators determined that the driver of a Ferrari was heading west on West Sunrise Boulevard when the car hit a barrier near the Sawgrass Expressway at about 9:40 a.m. and ended up in a nearby wooded area.
A man who was a passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
The driver was reported to have cooperated with investigators.
