News: Driver injured when car crashes into pole in Southwest Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Miami-Dade Fire Rescue tweeted it was on the scene of a crash that left a driver seriously injured early Sunday morning.
A car crashed into a pole in the area of Southwest 102nd Avenue and 168th Street sometime before 4 a.m., leaving the driver trapped inside. Video from the scene showed the car had been mangled in the wreck.
Rescue crews and Miami-Dade Police arrived and were able to extricate the victim by removing the driver’s side door of the vehicle. The driver sustained what were described as traumatic injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
