FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Authorities are continuing their search for the driver who left the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Fort Lauderdale on Sept. 15, NBC Miami reports.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was trying to cross the southbound lanes of State Road 7 at about 7:30  p.m. when he was struck by a Range Rover.  The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was rushed to an area hospital with critical injuries.
