News: Collision at intersection in Lauderhill sends 4 to hospital

LAUDERHILL, FL – Police and rescue units responded to a collision at a Lauderhill intersection Sunday night that left four people injured.

According to NBC Miami, the incident occurred in the vicinity of Sunrise Boulevard and Northwest 34th Avenue at about 8 p.m. Investigators said a Nissan making a turn at the intersection was struck by an eastbound Infinity. 

A teenage boy was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was reported to be in serious condition. Three other passengers were also hospitalized with injuries that were not regarded as life-threatening.

Motorists were advised to use Oakland Park Boulevard as an alternate route while the crash was being cleared and investigated.
