News: Car crashes into vintage vehicles at business in NW Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – A car crashed into an auto business in Northwest Miami-Dade County early Sunday morning, causing an estimated $25,000 in damage.

According to WSVN, the driver of a Mazda sedan went through a fence at Ted Vernon Auto Specialties at 8301 NW 7th Avenue off I-95 at about 3 a.m. and struck a row of vintage vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

The business owner, Ted Vernon, said the incident was captured on surveillance video. He said the driver and passenger in the Mazda got into another vehicle and took off after the crash.

Vernon told police about the incident and said he is now waiting for the two occupants of the car to come forward.
