News: Accident on U.S. 27 in West Broward kills tractor-trailer driver
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – A tractor-trailer driver was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in West Broward County Tuesday afternoon, reports WSVN.
Authorities said the tractor-trailer was involved in a crash with a dump truck and an SUV on U.S. 27 north at mile marker 40 shortly before 5 p.m.
The truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two drivers were not injured.
The incident shut down the northbound lanes of U.S. 27. as the Florida Highway Patrol and Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
