News: 79-year-old woman killed in Boca Raton car accident
BOCA RATON, FL – Authorities said one driver was killed and another injured in a crash in Palm Beach County Wednesday afternoon.
Boca News Now reports the accident happened in the area of US 441 and Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, 79-year-old Barbara Murphy of Boca Raton was driving a Toyota RAV4 west on Palmetto Park Road and made a turn to a Walmart store. Murphy’s car entered the path of an eastbound Infiniti Q60, causing a collision.
Murphy suffered fatal injuries, while the driver of the Infiniti sustained minor injuries. An investigation continues into the cause of the wreck.
