MIAMI, FL - At least five people were injured in a motor vehicle collision in Miami on Thursday afternoon, reports WSVN.
Miami Fire Rescue responded to the scene at Northwest 3rd Avenue and Northwest 54th Street at about 4 p.m.
One pedestrian, a woman, was struck in the crash and was left pinned under a car. Miami rescue crews said they had to deflate the tires and elevate the chassis of the vehicle to be able to free the pedestrian.
The woman and one other person were seriously injured and taken to an area hospital. No details were available on the conditions of the other three injured victims.
