Man Dies Following Boat Crash in Charlotte County
A man died in a boat crash in Charlotte County on Monday.
NBC 2 reports that the crash occurred at about 4:00 p.m. when two people were riding in a vessel near Stump Pass.
The report does not indicate how the crash occurred but does say that an adult man suffered fatal injuries during the collision.

Though a Good Samaritan reportedly attempted to help save the victim’s life, the victim died at the scene.
According to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) the other person in the vessel did not suffer injury in the crash.
Florida Fish and Wildlife is investigating the incident.
