Driver and Child Hospitalized After Car Crashes into Miami-Dade Home

A car crashed into a Miami-Dade home Friday afternoon, leaving two people hospitalized.

WSVN.com reports that the crash occurred near the 11500 block of Southwest 168th Terrace when a vehicle driven by a 61-year-old woman slammed into a local residence.

“The whole front end of the car up until the driver-side doors was inside of the actual house,” said Emmanuel  Llanos, a member of the family affected by the crash.

The driver of the vehicle and a child who was in the home at the time of the crash were both hospitalized following the collision.

Apparently, the driver of the vehicle lives across from the crash site and may have accidentally put her vehicle into reverse. She apparently crashed into her own home before rebounding and crashing into her neighbor’s home.
