Boca Raton Couple Found Dead In Palm Beach County Wetland

A Boca Raton, Florida couple was found mysteriously drowned near a boat in a Palm Beach County wetland last weekend.

DailyMail.co.uk reports that 76-year-old James Adams III and his wife 76-year-old Paula Adams were found floating in a body of water in Palm Beach County’s Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge last Saturday. The couple was found near a boat, but authorities were not immediately sure if the boat belonged to the Adams.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is leading the investigation into the couple’s death. FWC communications director Susan Neel expressed sympathy for the Adams family saying, “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Adams during this difficult time.”

As of the most recent report, authorities continue to investigate the couple’s cause of death.
