MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL - A hit-and-run crash in southwest Miami-Dade County Saturday night left a woman injured, according to WSVN.

Family members said the victim, Maria Martinez, had been stranded after her car ran out of gas and was parked on Southwest 122nd Street near 112th Street.

According to Miami-Dade police, a passing SUV struck the driver's door of her car, which then hit Martinez.  She was taken to an area hospital to be treated for her injuries, which include a broken hip and fractured ribs.

Detectives said the driver of the SUV kept going after the crash without stopping to help, and is now being sought.

Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run was asked to contact Miami-Dade Police or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers.
