News: Vehicle and golf cart involved in fatal crash in Riviera Beach
RIVIERA BEACH, FL – A vehicle and a golf cart were involved in a fatal crash in Riviera Beach early Tuesday morning, WPTV reports.
At least one person was killed in the incident, which took place on the Blue Heron Bridge at about 1:30 a.m. No details were released on the victim’s identity.
Police said the vehicle involved, reportedly a black Mercedes, was left on the bridge but the driver fled the scene and is being sought.
All lanes of the bridge were shut down in both directions for hours after the crash.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the driver was urged to contact Riviera Beach police.
