OAKLAND PARK, FL - Police say a stolen vehicle was involved in a fatal crash following a chase in Broward County on Sunday morning.

According to a report by WSVN, Fort Lauderdale police responded to a home on Mercedes Drive following a report of a burglary. Officers discovered that three vehicles had been stolen.  They gave chase to one of the vehicles, a Mercedes sedan, after it was spotted on Oakland Park Boulevard.

Following a brief pursuit, the sedan was involved in a multi-vehicle crash at West Oakland Park Boulevard and NW Ninth Avenue at about 6 a.m.

One woman was killed in the wreck, while five other people were hospitalized.   Police said two juveniles who fled from the scene were apprehended later and transported to a hospital.
